Dr. Carole GUILLONNEAU – Advisor
Dr. Carole GUILLONNEAU (40 years old), PhD, Research Director class 2 at CNRS, director of an INSERM team at the Center for Research in Transplantation and Immunology CRTI. She received her doctorate of science in Biology of Blood Cells in 2005 at the University of Paris 7 Denis Diderot and was trained as a post-doctorate in the laboratory of Pr. Doherty, winner of the Nobel Prize in Medicine, in Australia from 2006 to 2009. She then immediately obtained a permanent position at the Centre national de la recherche scientifique (CNRS). She has expertise in immunology and tolerance in transplantation and has worked on the development of new immunomodulators of immune responses. She is also the scientific director of the rodent animal facility, which in particular generates heart and kidney transplants in rats. She is a member of the editorial committee of the journal Transplantation (since 2014) and Frontiers in Translational Medecine (since 2017). She has published more than 50 manuscripts and has an h index of 24. She has filed several patents and licensed products in the fields of immunotherapy. She is a member of the scientific advisory board of funding organizations, international academic societies, research centers and biotechnology companies.
